BBC Radio 2 is a leading radio station in the United Kingdom, airing on FM frequencies between 88.1 and 90.2. Known for its AOR and adult contemporary music selection, the station is available on various platforms including DAB, Sky, Cable TV, IPTV, Freeview, Freesat, and online streaming. Broadcasting from Wogan House in central London, BBC Radio 2 first went on air on 30 September 1967. Initially sharing content with Radio 1, budget cuts in 1975 led to a reduction in broadcasting hours, which were later extended to a 5 am – 2 am schedule in 1978. By 1979, BBC Radio 2 became the UK's first national 24-hour radio station. With over 15 million weekly listeners, predominantly aged 35 and above, BBC Radio 2 boasts top presenters like Jeremy Vine, Ken Bruce, and Zoe Ball.
