About Passion Radio
Several UK radio moderators, perplexed by the lack of a high-caliber music station that truly represented the class’s over 40 years of evolution, set up Energy Radio. The origins of Passion Radio may be traced back to 1995, when New Wave Broadcasting—which included the writers of Passion—applied to the Radio Authority to manage an FM station in Brighton. The middle of Enthusiasm Radio’s administration group has over 60 years of expertise in business radio; members of the group have had administrative positions at a variety of stations, including Atlantic 252, Juice FM, Fire 106.7, Aire FM, Galaxy, and Key 103.
Passion Radio was born out of the vision of several UK radio moderators who were disappointed by the absence of a top-notch move music station that authentically reflected the genre's 40-year evolution. This led to the establishment of Energy Radio. The roots of Passion Radio can be traced back to 1995, when New Wave Broadcasting, which included the creators of Passion, sought to operate an FM station in Brighton by applying to the Radio Authority. The core of Passion Radio's management team boasts a wealth of experience in commercial radio, with over 60 years of combined expertise. Team members have held leadership roles at various stations such as Atlantic 252, Juice FM, Fire 106.7, Aire FM, Galaxy, and Key 103.
