Zetland FM

Zetland FM is a brand-new community radio station that was given a five-year broadcasting license by Ofcom in October 2013. It will be broadcasting 24 hours a day to much of the Redcar and Cleveland District. Because several of the local commercial radio stations, which up to now gave coverage to the district, increasingly regionalise and (in certain cases) relocate out of the district, Zetland FM will here give those living and working here a truly local service of music, information, news, and sports coverage—something that will be unique and very much with its roots within the community ‘heart’ of the district.
