Leicester Community Radio began in 2015 and is run by well-known figures from the Leicester music scene. Roots, reggae, dub, r&b, afrobeat, hip-hop, ska, soca, house, drum and bass, and other genres are played. The station seeks to serve all Leicester citizens with a single source for the best music available.
